Melanie Marshall, M.Ed

Ms. Marshall received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music from Eastern Michigan University in 1987. Upon graduation, Melanie taught music in Montessori Schools five years and received all three levels of music education training in Orff-Schulwerk. In 1992 she moved to Texas and taught in Montessori schools as an assistant and music director. She recieved her AMI Primary Certificate in 1996 from Ohio Montessori Training Institute and her Masters in Education from Loyola College in Maryland in 1998.She has 22 years of teaching experience and 17 of those years teaching in a Montessori school.

Charlane Baccus

Ms. Baccus received her Bachelor of Science in Marine Science at Texas State University.  She has 16 years of school administration experience as an Assistant Head/Admissions Director.  She is the President of the Montessori Institute of North Texas (which trains future AMI Montessori teachers).  As an AMI Montessori child from 18 months through 8th grade she is dedicated to this method of education.  She has personally been involved in opening and running successful Montessori schools throughout the United States.
